Last weekend this adorable family braved a super chilly day! Not only did we squeeze in a fun late Fall shoot, we also set them up in our Mini Session studio for some Holiday portraits. Here are some of our favorites...

Family ~ The Vaughn's

The Vaughn family was so much fun to photograph! We had the opportunity to take the advantage of the last colors of Fall at Cabell's Mill in Chantilly. While most of the trees were bare, we found some beautiful golden colors to use as backdrops. I think the best part of the shoot was watching Heidi and David try and make their son laugh when they weren't in the photos with him. Such a fun family :) Here are a handful of our favorites.

Children ~ Mazzy Jane Pick

This week marks Mazzy Jane Pick's first birthday and what better way to celebrate than with a 3D skull cake homemade my your own mama? And an adorable homemade dress to boot! Mazzy is just about the cutest 1 year old I have ever encountered, and watching her discover cake for the first time is probably the hardest I have laughed in a long time. She went through all the stages. Confused, distracted, amused, meltdown, sugar high, and finally, sugar crash. Even dad got in on some of the fun by playing peek-a-boo behind the backdrop. Here are our favorites from the shoot.
