Newborn ~ Brynleigh Schulze & Family

We had the pleasure of photographing our second ever newborn shoot and I am IN LOVE with newborn shoots!!! This family was a dream to work with and Brynleigh (dubbed Byrncess) was just a peach! We learned so much from our first shoot and even from our second session. Newborn sessions are a lot of "hurry up and wait". It takes time to get baby back to sleep between feedings and changing diapers, but when she does it's GO TIME! But that in between time is fun to bond with both parents and baby. We are so happy with the results and can't wait to book more newborn sessions!

Mini Sessions ~ Cherry Blossoms

We braved the DC traffic and congestion for the coveted Cherry Blossoms during their peak! It was insane and a little stressful but totally worth the outcome. We photographed two great families at two different spots. The weather was gorgeous and the blossoms did not disappoint!

First up, the Pick family. I've grown close to the Pick family recently and was very sad (but happy) to hear that they were moving to Seattle at the end of this month. They wanted some family photos before they left and I suggested using the Cherry Blossoms as a backdrop so they could take a little piece of DC to the West Coast with them.

Next was the Pybus family! They special requested Cherry Blossom photos which is the whole reason we decided to offer mini sessions downtown. It made for a great backdrop on such a beautiful day with such a beautiful family!
